What we collect and why
Standard server logs (including IP addresses) are kept briefly for security and site operation. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes requests — including web fonts, served from this domain — as our infrastructure provider.
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages visited, how visitors arrive, approximate location), and this site may show ads served by Google, which helps cover the cost of running it. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes usage data on our behalf; we do not use it to identify individuals, and we do not sell or share personal data with anyone else. Both analytics and ad personalization only run if you consent — see Cookies below.
Cookies
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you’re OK with analytics and ad personalization cookies. Nothing is set until you choose “Accept all” — Google Analytics stays off by default and any ads shown are not personalized to you and don’t use tracking cookies; choosing “Reject non-essential” keeps it that way. Your choice is remembered on this device (via your browser’s local storage, not a tracking cookie) so you won’t be asked again. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser’s site data for this domain, which brings the banner back.
Google acts as our analytics and advertising partner and may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.
